I then tryed to reinstall Vista when it got to the screen that asks where you want to install vista to it shows my raid as primary and the IDE as unallocated space. When I click on drive select it showes my C drive, the thing is it shows the Raid volume (which was the E drive) as my C drive and doesn't show my IDE

Advice - Best way to transfer settings to a Vista Clean install.
You might find it is helpful to download them all and install them. Windows XP will use whatever drivers it had available at the time the disk was created but the newest XP drivers should be at this site and should work better. The site is setup to make it hard for other webpages to link to their drivers.
